Estudió la licenciatura en Cinematografía en el Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica (CCC), Ciudad de México. Participó en dos ediciones del Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM); en el 3er FICM con su cortometraje de ficción Vive en nuestros corazones (2004) y en el 4° FICM con Irma González: Madre de todas las reinas (2006). Su cortometraje Costa linda (2007), ganador del premio a Mejor Actor y Mejor Actriz en el 1er Festival Internacional de Cine Independiente de Mompox (FICIM), Colombia, recorrió más de 40 muestras y festivales alrededor del mundo, entre ellos el 20° Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes de Dresden, Alemania; el 20° Encuentro Cinelatino de Toulouse; el 13° Festival Internacional de Cine 2ANNAS, Riga, Letonia; el 7° Festival Internacional de Cine de Transilvania (TIFF por sus siglas en inglés); y el 7° Festival Internacional de Cine de Horror de la Ciudad de México Macabro (Macabro FICH).
