Ha obtenido dos becas del Fondo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes (FONCA), México: en 2003 para la post-producción de su cortometraje de ficción Post mortem (2005), nominado al Ariel por Cortometraje de Ficción en la 48ª entrega de los premios Ariel, México; y en 2007 la Beca Jóvenes Creadores para la creación del guión Relatos de Fuga, seleccionado para el 14° Taller Colón de Análisis de Proyectos Cinematográficos de la Fundación de Teoría y Práctica de las Artes (TYPA), Argentina. Participó en el 6° Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM) con su cortometraje de ficción La ropa sucia (2007). Su cortometraje Cuando despierte (2012) fue seleccionado en el 9° Concurso Nacional de Proyectos de Ficción del Instituto Mexicano de Cinematografía (IMCINE).
