Realizó una maestría en Comunicación Audiovisual Interactiva en la Escola de Mitjans Audiovisuals (EMAV) y un doctorado en Documentación, Análisis y Teoría Cinematográfica en la Universidad Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona. Comenzó su carrera como asistente de dirección en publicidad en la productora de Alejandro González Iñárritu (Z Film). Vivió en Barcelona, España donde comenzó a trabajar en efectos visuales así como comenzando a dirigir sus propios proyectos y publicidad. Su obra se ha presentado en más de diez festivales alrededor del mundo, entre los que destacan el 6° Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM) y el 15° Festival de Cine Independiente de Barcelona L’alternativa. Obtuvo el Premio del Jurado en la categoría de Video Publicitario en el 8° Festival Audiovisual de Creación Joven, Barcelona Visual Sound, por su video Nike Air Mexico (2010) y el segundo premio a Mejor Director en el 5° Festival Internacional de la Música, las Artes Audiovisuales y el Videoclip de Barcelona por su video musical Autumn (2011). En 2014 regresó a vivir a México para dedicarse de lleno a la dirección tanto de publicidad como de su primer largometraje: Ricochet.
