Fue miembro del Sistema Nacional de Creadores del Consejo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes (CONACULTA), México, de 2011 a 2014. Obtuvo el 1er Lugar en el Festival Rostro Negro de la universidad UC, por su cortometraje de ficción Casa de cartón (1988). Participó en el 8° Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM), en el 5° Festival Internacional de Cine Documental de la Ciudad de México DocsDF y en el 1er Festival Internacional de Cine Puebla (FIC Puebla), entre otros, con su cortometraje documental Daniel Reyes para presidente (2009), exhibido en 2010 en el Palacio de Bellas Artes de Bruselas BOZAR y en 2014 en el Centro Cultural Universitario Tlatelolco.
