Obtuvo el 1er Lugar en el 2° concurso Desafía Exprés del 1er Festival Internacional de Cine UNAM (FICUMAN), con el cortometraje El abuelo (2011). Actualmente se encuentra en etapa de preproducción de su ópera prima Óleos en la oscuridad.
