Ganó el primer lugar en la categoría de cine experimental en el Festival Cuadro de México 2003 y una mención honorífica en la 2ª Bienal Inter-Americana de Video Arte del Centro Cultural IDB de Washington, por su cortometraje Invasión doméstica (2002). Su largometraje documental La guerrera (2011) participó, entre otros festivales, en el 9° Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM) y obtuvo el Gran Premio Zanate a Mejor Documental en el 4° Festival de Cine y Video Documental Zanate, México.
