Realizó diversos cursos de teatro y cine, entre ellos, un curso con la profesora Lola Cohen en The Lee Strasberg Theater & Film Institute, Santa Mónica, y un curso en Investigación para el Desarrollo Documental con el programador del Festival Internacional de Cine de Toronto (TIFF por sus siglas en inglés), Thom Powers, en la Universidad de Nueva York (NYU por sus siglas en inglés). Obtuvo el premio a Mejor Cortometraje Experimental en el 4º Corona Fasnet Short Film Festival, Irlanda, por Alterego y la máscara del miedo (2011), que participó, además, en el 9º Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM), en el 8º Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes FENACO, Perú, y en el 8º Festival Internacional de Cine de Monterrey (FIC Monterrey), entre otros. Actualmente, se dedica a fondear el proyecto para su ópera prima La alacrana y escribe el guión para su documental A Kidnap: The Other Side of the Coin.
