Con el cortometraje 4 kilos de recuerdos (2008), ganó el premio Reto Kornea en el 11° Festival Internacional de Cine de Guanajuato (GIFF por sus siglas en inglés). Participó en el 10° Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia con el cortometraje Zurcidos invisibles (2012). Su cortometraje Al ras (2012) participó en el 15° GIFF; en el Short Film Corner del 66° Festival de Cannes; y en la Selección Oficial del 8° Short Shorts Film Festival México (SSFFM), entre otros. Su cortometraje de ficción Mercy (2014) formó parte de la Selección Oficial del 12º FICM. Es cofundadora del colectivo Dear Sisters, y embajadora en México de la organización global de cineastas Free The Work. Actualmente filma su largometraje documental y escribe otro de ficción.
