Obtuvo el 1er lugar en el Concurso Nacional de Cortometrajes “Centenario” 2009, Guanajuato, por su cortometraje de ficción La otra ruta (2009). Participó, con su cortometraje Ometepe (2012), en el 10° Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM) y en el 11° Festival Les Toiles de Mer, Francia, entre otros. Formó parte de la selección oficial del 10° Festival Cinéma des Peuples, Marruecos, con su cortometraje La marée (2013); del 32° Rendez-Vous du Cinéma Quebequois, Quebec, con La plaque (2013); y del 16° GIFF con su cortometraje Catalina (2013).
