Estudió Política, Filosofía y Estudios de Latinoamérica en la Universidad de Colonia, en Alemania. Obtuvo el premio a Mejor Dirección de Arte en el 18° Festival Iberoamericano de Cine (Cine Ceará) por el cortometraje Antonio Pode (2007) de Ivan Morales Jr., que recorrió una decena de festivales alrededor del mundo. Participó en el 6° Berlinale Talents y en el 2° Talents Guadalajara. Debutó como directora con Magritte (2011), que formó parte de la Selección de Cortometraje Mexicano del 10° Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM).

¡Aoquic iez in Mexico! ¡Ya México no existirá más!

A frenetic view runs over a convulsed Mexico City, a colossal metropolis sustained by the myth of "mestizaje" and other colonial forms of violence. Past and present weave a flurry of images; fragmented memories of this land. Ancient deities are incarnated, while dreams overlap among intimacy, complicity and the tumult. This is an erratic film that invites us to reimagine the complex relationship we have with the constructed “mexicanidad.”
