Ganó el 4º Lugar en el Concurso Unidos por el Agua 2011, organizado por el Canal 13 de Morelia, por su cortometraje Ni una gota más (2011). Obtuvo una Mención Especial en el Concurso Michoacano de Guión de Cortometraje en el marco del 10º FICM por su guión Tiritas de papel (2012). Obtuvo el Premio Especial I. SAT en el 11º FICM por su cortometraje de animación Dr. Onco (2013) que se presentó, además, en el 8º Short Shorts Film Festival México (SSFFM) y en el 5º Festival de Cine y Artes Audiovisuales de Celaya, Travelling.
