Realizó también estudios de fotografía en el Instituto Profesional de Arte y Comunicación de Santiago (ARCOS), Chile, y diversos seminarios de cinematografía, en México, en el Museo Jumex y en IMCINE y, en Copenhague, en La Escuela Nacional de Cinematografía de Dinamarca. Su obra ha recorrido más de diez festivales alrededor del mundo y ha participado en dos ediciones del Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM). En el 2° FICM presentó su cortometraje de ficción Los esquimales y el cometa (2004). Posteriormente, participó, con su cortometraje Antes del desierto (2009) en el 10° Festival Internacional de Cine de Martil, Marruecos y en la 34° Muestra Internacional de Cine de São Paulo, entre otros festivales. Su ópera prima González (2013) compitió en el 11º FICM y obtuvo el premio a Mejor Actor para Carlos Bardem y Harold Torres.
