Originario de Los Mochis, Sinaloa (15 de septiembre de 1994). Cosme Álvarez estudió dirección cinematográfica en el Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica y desde entonces se ha desempeñado en el medio audiovisual como director, asistente de dirección, continuista, editor y postproductor. Además de numerosos videos musicales, dirigió el cortometraje Usura, premiado en festivales internacionales.
