The filmmakers who will study under Béla Tarr

Following an overwhelming show of interest from around the world, as well as a highly competitive selection process, the University Sarajevo School of Science and Technology has revealed the list of accepted candidates in the doctoral level program Film Factory. Among them is the Mexican Sergio Flores Torija, graduate of the Bachelor in Film and Television at the CENTRO University in Mexico City.

Of the selection process Bela Tarr, Head of Program and Dean of Film Factory said: “Having watched hundreds of hours of films submitted by so many applicants, I am happy that I discovered some true talent, and from such diverse places on the globe. These candidates all possess something unique in their artistic voice and a sensitivity that could lead us toward great work. Look out for these names.”
