10 · 25 · 15 The Presence of Rodrigo García at the 13th FICM Share with twitter Share with facebook Share with mail Copy to clipboard Jaime Garba (@jaimegarba), reportero The 13th FICM is honored to have the presence of Colombian director Rodrigo García whose latest film, Last Days in the Desert (2015), was shown for the first time in Mexico at Cinépolis Morelia Centro. Rodrigo García is a prominent film and television director. His films include Albert Nobbs (2011), Mother and Child (2009), Nueve vidas (2005) and Cosas que diría con sólo mirarla (2000). He has directed well-known television series such as The Sopranos and Six Feet Under. In 2014, along with Mexican director Alejandro González Iñárritu, he received the Carlos Fuentes Medal for Creativity, given by the Universidad Veracruzana. His film Albert Nobbs received three Oscar nominations in 2011. Cuauhtémoc Cardenas Batel, Rodrigo García, Daniela Michel, Last Days in the Desert was produced by HanWayFilms and Ironwood Entertainment. Photography was by Mexican cinematographer Emmanuel Lubezki.
