The Morelia International Film Festival (FICM) launches the initiative: FICM Presents Online

From the 6th April to the 31st May the Morelia International Film Festival (FICM) will have a selection of Mexican feature films, documentaries and short films - all award-winners from previous editions of the Festival - available free-to-watch on its website

In the following weeks, FICM Presenta, an initiative from the Morelia International Film Festival´s that focuses on the permanent promotion of cinematographic culture and the creation of new audiences, becomes FICM Presents Online. In this way the Festival continues its mission to promote Mexican cinema across the entire country, now from the comfort of the public´s own homes.

This initiative is part of the work that FICM is doing in response to the COVID-19 global crisis. The objective is to offer a free, open, virtual space where the public can enjoy great Mexican films, while they are practicing social distancing.

Every two weeks, FICM Presents Online will upload a new selection of award-winning films from previous editions of FICM at www.moreliafilmfest.com.

The BBVA Mexico Foundation aims to promote and foster culture and the arts in the country. Through his BBVA Art Grant (formerly Proyecto Bi), BBVA provides an economic stimulus, unique in the country, for the production and promotion of initiatives with an outstanding track record; For this reason, the activities carried out by the Morelia International Film Festival (FICM) through FICM Presenta have been benefited by this scholarship.

Working together we can flatten the COVID-19 curve. #StayHome #Stayathome. #StayHome.
