Image Rosas; Paulina She studied communication at the Universidad Internacional (UNINTER), Mexico, and cinematography, specializing in production and directing, at the CCC film school, Mexico City. She has worked in advertising production. She received the Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD) scholarship from the Filmuniversität Babelsberg Konrad Wolf in Germany. Her short film Dos de tres (2012) was presented at more than 40 festivals and film forums around the world, including the 27th Guadalajara International Film Festival (FICG, in Spanish), Mexico; the 15th Ícaro International Central American Film Festival, Guatemala; the 15th Seoul International Youth Film Festival (SIYFF), South Korea; and the 43rd Giffoni Film Festival (GFF), Italy. Dos de tres won the awards for Best Screenplay and Best Actor at the 7th Shorts México, International Short Film Festival of Mexico (FICMEX); Best Student Short Film at the 16th Sleepwalkers International Short Film Festival, Estonia; Best Short Film, Best Actress and Best Screenplay at the 6th International Short Film Festival (FIC, in Spanish), Mexico; and the Best Short Film at the 3rd Caixa de Curtas de Televisión América Latina (TAL), Brazil. Her short film Oak Leaves (2015) was part of the Official Selection of the 13th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM).
