Image García Flores, Raúl He studied graphic design at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and received a master’s degree in visual arts from the Antigua Academia de San Carlos of the UNAM in Mexico CÅity. He participated in the 3rd National Competition for Experimental Video of Baja California with his animated short film Jaque mate (2005), which won 1st Place in the animation category at the 1st Aguascalientes Film Festival, Mexico. His short film El gorrito de Morfeo (2006) was part of the Official Selection of the 10th Guanajuato International Film Festival (GIFF) and the 2nd Short Shorts Film Festival México (SSFFM), among others. He was in two editions of the Morelia International Film Festival (FICM) in the Children’s Short Film Section. At the 6th FICM, he presented Árbol (2008), which was also part of the Official Selection of the 3rd SSFFM and the 1st Animasivo, Contemporary Animation Forum in Mexico City. His animated short film ¿Dónde se encuentran sus historias? (2009) was shown at the 7th FICM. He participated in the 6th SSFFM with his animated short film Pupa (2010).
