Image Yñigo, Omar He took a course in screenwriting at the CCC film school in Mexico City. He participated with his work in three editions of the Morelia International Film Festival (FICM). At the 2nd FICM, he participated with his short fiction film Corazón de Fanny (2003) and in the 4th FICM with La ventana de Luciano (2006). His first feature-length film Marcelo (2012), which was part of the Official Selection of the Mexican Feature Film Section at the 10th FICM, was also presented at the 28th Guadalajara International Film Festival (FICG), at the 17th Mix Mexico: Festival of Sexual Diversity in Film and Videos, at the 13th Barcelona International Gay & Lesbian Film Festival (FICGLB, in Spanish), and at the 11th Ischia Film & Music Global Fest, Italy. His last film tied for First Place at the IV “Alejandro Galindo Screenwriting Improvement Workshop, taught by Vicente Leñero, in Mexico City.
