Ferrer, Marta

She graduated with a degree in photo directing from the Film and Audiovisual School of Catalonia (ESCAC), and received a master’s degree in creative documentary from the IDEC - Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona, and a student exchange scholarship at the CCC film school in Mexico City. She won the Best Feature Documentary award at the 8th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM), a Special Mention from the jury at the 4th International Documentary Film Festival of Mexico City DocsDF and the second prize at the 2009 Muestra Internacional de Cine y Video Visión Frontera in Baja California for her film El Varal (2009).
