Vaho premieres today

Vaho is the story of three young boys, Andrés, José and Felipe, who live in Iztapalapa, and are facing post-adolescent limbo. The memory of a man’s lynching that occurred during their childhood brings them together and at the same time separates them.  The film reflects on the different worlds that exist in this humble and forgotten area of Mexico City, seen mainly from a male’s point of view. Here social, political and even religious problems are interwoven.

The film was well received at a showing at the Cineteca Nacional during the exhibition of “The best of FICM in Mexico City.” At the end of the showing, the director and actors were present. If you would like to read more about their question-and-answer session, please go to /noticias.php?id=967
