The Drawer Boy, by Arturo Pérez Torres, premiered at the 15th FICM

The Drawer Boy (2017, dir. Arturo Pérez Torres) was screened this morning at the fifteenth edition of the Morelia International Film Festival, as part of the Mexican Feature Film Section.

The filmmaker also pointed out that the setting and light were as organic as possible because he wanted to recreate the era of 1973, not only on a visual level but as the project's conception:

"We decided to make the film as if we had done it in 1973, with filters of that time and without including digital edition; all the effects of lights were analogous, more basic, natural light to keep us faithful to the time.

In the afternoon, a gala function of The Drawer Boy will take place at Cinépolis Centro, where the director will be present.
