He is head of public programs for the UCLA Film & Television Archive. He has also served as artistic director of the Morelia International Film Festival; director of programming for Outfest, The Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian Film Festival; associate director of the Documentary Film Program of the Sundance Institute, and senior programming consultant to the Sundance Film Festival’s documentary section. He has been a mentor for the European Documentary Producers’ Development Program and the Discovery Campus Masterschool, and a panelist at documentary funding pitches in the United States and Europe.
