Pier-Philippe is known for his short film Rebel (2019), which brings the story of Arine to the big screen. Arine is forced to return to her hometown because of a difficult financial situation. There she accepts a job on a farm as an interpreter between temporary Guatemalan workers and their Canadian employers. Although she must be impartial, when she repeatedly witnesses the mistreatment of migrant workers, she cannot remain silent. The filmmaker took a few minutes to explain the title of the film: "Richelieu is the name of a river in Quebec, where I grew up, which literally means rich place, which is very significant for the film." Lastly, he thanked the audience and the actors for their attendance.
