Ruiz Villanueva, Acelo

He studies Cinematography at the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica (CCC) in Mexico City. Besides being a filmmaker, he also works as a cartoonist in the humor and political satire magazine El Chamuco. His short fiction film Esta canción de amor es para Fátima (2014) was part of the Official Selection of the 12th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM). This work also participated in the 29th Guadalajara International Film Festival (FICG), Mexico; in the 12th Vancouver Latin American Film Festival (VLAFF), Canada, and in the 9th Sydney Latin American Film Festival (SLAFF).
