Image Reyes Retana, Ezequiel He received a master’s degree in engineering with a specialty in Film Mechatronics at the Center for Research and Advanced Studies of the National Polytechnic Institute (Cinvestav), and he is currently finishing his degree in cinematography at the CCC film school in Mexico City. He won First Place in three editions of the “A Pantalla Abierta” Short Video Festival organized by the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico (UAEM), Toluca: For his short fiction film A qué sabe la melancolía con mermelada (2010) in the 4th edition, for his short fiction film Xinantécatl (2011) in the 5th and for his documentary short film Familia Desconocida (2012) in the 6th edition.
