Palomino Benítez, Luis David

He studied cinematography at the CCC film school in Mexico City. He participated with his short fiction film El último velo (2013) in the 11th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM); the special presentation of short films selected by FICM shown at the 53rd Critics’ Week at the Cannes Film Festival; the 8th Short Shorts Film Festival México (SSFFM); and the 7th Kustendorf International Film and Music Festival, Serbia, among others. The film received the Best National Film and Best National Acting awards at the 4th International Short Film Festival Vagón (FIC Vagón), Ciudad Juárez, and Best Short Film award at the 3rd Sonora International Film Festival (FICS).
