He is part of Fonca’s Sistema Nacional de Creadores. His documentary feature Matria (2014) won the award for Best Feature Length Documentary at the 12th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM). Past and present weave a flurry of images; fragmented memories of this land. Ancient deities are incarnated, while dreams overlap among intimacy, complicity and the tumult.
