In 2016 she presented her first short film Esto es lo que me tocó in the Official Selection of the 14th edition of the Morelia International Film Festival (FICM), where it won the Ojo for the Michoacan Section. The film has also participated in festivals such as the Los Angeles CineFest, in the United States; the Roma Cinema DOC, in Italy; and the Festival Internacional de Cine UNACH, in Chiapas, Mexico.
