Image Gil; Joshua Graduated from the Escola Superior de Cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya (ESCAC) in Barcelona, Spain. He began his professional career in the photography department of the film Japón (2002), by Carlos Reygadas. Later, he studied abroad with filmmakers like Patricio Guzmán and The Quay Brothers (Stephen and Timothy Quay). In 2015 he directed his first feature film La maldad, selected in the 65th edition of the Berlin International Film Festival.
