Image Flores Thorija; Sergio He studied Film at the CENTRO Design, Film and Television School in Mexico City. He had a grant from the National Fund for Culture and the Arts (FONCA), Mexico to obtain a Ph.D in humanities in film at the Film Factory program, founded by Hungarian director Béla Tarr, of the Sarajevo Film Academy, Bosnia and Herzegovina. His short documentary film Tuga (2014) participated in the 12th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM). His short fiction film Bosnian Dream (2015) won the Short Film Award at the 13th FICM and won the Luminus Canacine Award for Best Short Film. His first feature film 3 ZENE or (Waking Up From My Bosnian Dream), is part of the Official Selection of the 14th FICM. Other Movies Mexico will no longer exist! A frenetic view runs over a convulsed Mexico City, a colossal metropolis sustained by the myth of "mestizaje" and other colonial forms of violence. Past and present weave a flurry of images; fragmented memories of this land. Ancient deities are incarnated, while dreams overlap among intimacy, complicity and the tumult. As a teenager, Ziuta weathered exile with fortitude and determination, saving her mother and other relatives from perishing in their flight. With a Super-8 camera that once belonged to his father and has remained untouched for 41 years, he plans to retrace the path of the shepherd: the journey of transhumance that his grandfather undertook in his youth, following now-forgotten coordinates.
