He participated in the 7th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM) with his feature length documentary Pueblos unidos (2009), which was presented at more than 30 festivals around the world, including the 18th Biarritz Festival of Latin American Cinema and Cultures, France; the 32nd International Festival of New Latin American Film, Havana, Cuba; and the 4th Festival International Documentary Film Festival of Mexico City (DocsDF, in Spanish). The film received the Premio Desarrollo Sostenible y Ecología at the 2nd International Invisible Film Festival “Film Sozialak” of Bilbao, and an Honorable Mention at the 27th Bogotá Film Festival (Bogocine), Colombia, among others.
