Rita Basulto is a four-time Ariel Award winner and member of the Academy of Motion Pictures and Sciences. Director of the short films El octavo día, la creación, Lluvia en los ojos, Zimbo y Eclosión, she specializes in cinematography, art and animation in short and feature films. Rita was the director of the second unit of cinematography on 2022 Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio.
