Aguilera, Javier

He studied filmmaking at the School of Image Arts (IMA) at Ryerson University, Toronto. His work was presented at more than 10 festivals around the world. Among other festivals, it participated in the 2nd RESFest, United States, with his short documentary film Round 5 (2006), which won the Best International Short Film award at the 2nd HollyShorts Film Festival (HSFF), Los Angeles. He participated in the 5th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM) and the 61st Edinburgh International Film Festival (EIFF), among others, with his short fiction film 05:55:00 AM (2007); which won the Visual Excellence Award at the 30th Cleveland International Film Festival (CIFF).
