Image Aguilera, Javier He studied filmmaking at the School of Image Arts (IMA) at Ryerson University, Toronto. His work was presented at more than 10 festivals around the world. Among other festivals, it participated in the 2nd RESFest, United States, with his short documentary film Round 5 (2006), which won the Best International Short Film award at the 2nd HollyShorts Film Festival (HSFF), Los Angeles. He participated in the 5th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM) and the 61st Edinburgh International Film Festival (EIFF), among others, with his short fiction film 05:55:00 AM (2007); which won the Visual Excellence Award at the 30th Cleveland International Film Festival (CIFF). Other Movies Mexico will no longer exist! A frenetic view runs over a convulsed Mexico City, a colossal metropolis sustained by the myth of "mestizaje" and other colonial forms of violence. Past and present weave a flurry of images; fragmented memories of this land. Ancient deities are incarnated, while dreams overlap among intimacy, complicity and the tumult.
