Stavenhagen described the short films as "small, playful stories that talk about different stages of the Independence and Revolutionary [movement]." They were dedicated to Rigo Mora, animation director of the project who passed away several months ago.

Greatly moved, Michel said, "It is a great honor to present the screening of these works by Mexican animators."

La linterna mágica by Luis Téllez, El arte de la fuga de Fray Servando by René Castillo, El país del juego by Rigo Mora, Viruela o bizcocho by Karla Castañeda and El tartufo de Hidalgo by Rita Basulto were shown. They form part of the project that brings together the talent of 150 persons who were trained in Jalisco, where the Batallón production company is based.

Batallón has become the most important production company in Latin America. Their artists have access to 100 computers with the same software used at Disney.

The program ended with a lively question and answer session that continued at the Velvet.
