At 8 p.m. children, young people and adults enjoyed the work of the winners in the Short Films category: La luz de la oscuridad, by Gabriela Retes, Honorable Mention; Jacinta, by Karla Castañeda, Winner of best Mexican Animated Short Film; La canción de los niños muertos, by David Pablos, Winner of best Mexican Fiction Short Film, and Zoogocho, by Bernardo Arellano, Winner of best Mexican Documentary Short Film Christiane Burkhard’s Trazando Aleida, Winner of the Best Feature Length Mexican Documentary was shown at 10 p.m. Each film was met with generous applause from the audience.
