Garbus, managed to restore a portion of Cousteau's film footage. Becoming Cousteau and the announcement of the "Cinema in the Everyday" winner Before the presentation, Sébastien Blayac and Ana Cecilia Gómez announced the winner of the "Cinema in the Everyday" contest. Gabriel Sánchez Martínez was winner of this edition's award for his short film Brisa. The short premiered at Cinépolis Centro, where Gabriel received a prize of $5,000.00 dollars and became one of the Xiaomi Creators. Brisa is set in the City of Oaxaca and tells the story of two young people who, even in the face of a pandemic, dare to live their love. "Cinema in the Everyday is a contest launched by the Morelia International Film Festival (FICM) and Xiaomi aimed at directors, filmmakers, and content creators of legal age who reside in Mexico. This year, the three finalists received a Xiaomi 11T Pro to film their project.
