In the mountains of Monterrey, Mexico, the young members of a street gang, the self-proclaimed “Los Terkos,” spend their days listening to slowed-down cumbia and attending dance parties. After a mix-up with a local cartel, their leader, Ulises, is forced to migrate to Jackson Heights, Queens, where he soon finds himself longing for home.
