2007 | Color | 107 min Eliseo is a photographer for a sensasionalist newspaper who undergoes an investigation into the funding of the terrorist group ETA in México. He follows his neighboor María, a young basque involved in separatist movements, and secretly takes pictures of her. However, this investigation soon turns into a morbid obsession. When Maria turns up stabbed to death in their neighborhood, Eliseo becomes the prime suspect. Everything he knows about María can either incriminate him, or help prove his innocence. However, he must first convince the police of his innocence. Pressured by the Spanish Government, the police begins a manhunt to find him.
