The Bacchus Lady

Youn So-young works as a “Bacchus Lady”, a common profession for elderly women in South Korea, where she sells a popular soft drink containing taurine and offers sexual services on the side. One day So-young visits the clinic because she has contracted gonorrhea. There, she meets a Filipino boy, Min-ho, who has lost his mother. So-young takes the boy home while she tries to contact his mother. The boy is cared for by So-young’s friends and clients.
