Ingrid, a Romanian woman married to a Norwegian man, returns home to Oslo after a trip to Romania. As she is waiting for her connecting flight in an Italian airport, her wallet is stolen and she is left without passport, money and boarding pass. A stranger, a Romanian of Roma ethnicity, offers his help and seems to know a little too much about missing wallets.
