All the smoke and unhealthy air makes Elio scratch his eyes. He accidentally pulls out one eye, which rolls along the floor. Elio rescues it from the cat, which he sees with the eye he still has, and throws the other one to see what happens.

The Toilet. A woman finds a letter her husband left for her. Suddenly, all the household appliances start moving on their own. A friend arrives to comfort her, but she doesn´t listen to her or take stock of anything.
