A woman with aspirations to be a novice commits a sin in her early days within the religion. Now she and her son, the fruit of this sin, leave Spain to start a new life. After several years they lead a quiet life in a small town in the south of France. The Mother will try everything to prevent her son from making the same mistake as her given the intervention of the presence of an unwanted woman within her home.
