On the Job is about the passions and ambitions of four men trying to make a living for themselves and their families. The film draws parallels between two convicts who are contract killers and two police officers investigating homicides. Caught up in a plot devised by corrupt government officials, they find their duties leading them into a face-to-face confrontation in which their loved ones may become collateral damage.
