Our Land Is Not For Sale Over ten years ago, the government wanted to build a huge hydroelectric dam in the Alto Balsas region in Guerrero, threatening the existence of 22 native communities. The communities organized, struggled, protested, and resisted in many ways, and managed to suspend construction. Now the same communities have discovered that the plan to build the dam is being reactivated.
