After a shakedown with a druglord named Torrez, former Mexican cop, Machete, roams the streets in Texas in search of work. Michael Booth, a businessman and spin doctor, hires him to assassinate a senator.  Machete accepts the job, but soon finds himself entangled in a media campaign against illiegal immigrants—and himself as public enemy number one.  Machete’s only way out is to seek revenge.
