Claire Darling has decided to get rid of her belongings and display them for sale in the garden. As her neighbors show up to nose around and take over her things, each object evokes a memory from her life. In the middle of this situation, Marie, the daughter she hasn’t seen for years, will be forced to come home and put a stop to her mother’s eccentric behavior.
