Velvet During the brief lapse between puberty and adolescence, Ale and her best friend Rubén witness an equally fleeting phenomenon: the path of the Velvet comet over Mexico City. Capturing this celestial body offers a glimpse of the fragility in Ale and Rubén’s friendship, which makes their encounters increasingly sporadic and their reencounters increasingly strange.
