A Mexican immigration agent and his American counterpart stage an undercover operation in which the Mexican agent will cross the border, posing as an illegal immigrant, to monitor the experiences of migrant laborers entering the US and the grave risks they face. The plot exposes a series of crimes and their perpetrators until the agents’ own lives come under threat.
