In Álvaro Obregón, in Juchitán, Oaxaca, the members of a Zapotec community have lived under constant threat since a transnational decided to install a wind farm in the sea without the consent of the community. The inhabitants have resisted, creating a local police force that controls entry into the conflict zone. Two Zapotec fishermen, Herminio and Mariano, have lived this struggle and resistance.
